The hull (17-degree deadrise and four chines) and CoreMax com-posite deck are stiffened by a complete liner pan. The cockpit is a social area with a wet bar (unusual on a 25-footer), and a transverse seat that tilts automatically when you open the engine compartment hatch and folds out of the way for fishing. The helm with full instrumentation in an aircraft style panel is to starboard. The seat folds into a bolster to make the boat more comfortable for steering in a standing position. The dash itself has brown gelcoat, to reduce glare. Heading belowdecks, you go through a sliding companionway hatch, down two steps mounted on an aluminum post. Inside, a standup head, with Vacuflush marine toilet and shower, lies to starboard, a compact galley to port. A compact mid-cabin has been built beneath the sundeck, and thedining table drops down to provide sleeping accommodations for a couple forward.Bill Penczak, an excellent measuring stick at 6'2", had standing headroom at the galley, and good seating headroom and legroom at the pedestal table. A lot of ergo-nomic living room has been designed into the cabin. he ride was soft, quiet and responsive. Handling was sure-footed, and the sound level allowed conversations at normal tones, even at top speeds.
